Which is good if you are making some cash off of it. Is the cupcake on the wall an homage to Diana? ; )RyanLoghryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03447161032665457097noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4624112395991506648.post-11781088376452128802008-05-02T18:54:00.000-07:002008-05-02T18:54:00.000-07:00It does look tight but that's because you are comp...It does look tight but that's because you are comparing it to the sketch below. That always happens.

But I really like this! Love the colors and composition. However, if you're doing a watercolor it will be very interesting to compare the two.crystal driedgerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03724557765826548968noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4624112395991506648.post-88388419698792856772008-05-01T23:37:00.000-07:002008-05-01T23:37:00.000-07:00I love the freshness of the sketch of flying cupca...I love the freshness of the sketch of flying cupcakes in yesterdays drawing but can appreciate the "tightness" of this one. It is more refined and I can imagine this as a cute invitational card to a tea party. :)Joan Yhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00500271748314374941noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4624112395991506648.post-87446672882925016942008-05-01T20:17:00.000-07:002008-05-01T20:17:00.000-07:00Great vector art.I sure look forward the water col...Great vector art.I sure look forward the water color.
I have forgotten how to use illustrator to draw...MayY . This illustration ...I know what you mean, Cynthia. This illustration done in Illustrator is quite nice, but the sketch below has a lot of the freshness you talked about in the post you left at my blog. That happens a lot to me... my sketches seem to have something extra that gets lost when I translate them into finished pieces. I think in part is that when I'm doing a sketch there seems to be no pressure whatsoever, whereas when I'm painting the final piece I can't help but get a bit tighter.
I think your piece will look lovely in watercolors!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
