Above is a photo taken of an embellished compass that sits on the top of a lookout point in the South Mountains of Phoenix. The closest arrow in the photo points in the direction of the Superstition Mountains, and I am sure they aren't going anywhere any time soon! Hence being the theme for Motionless. There are many points of interest on the compass, I just so happened to quick capture this one. With taking 600 plus photos that day, I have to say that this one is my favorite.
This is really beautiful! I would love to see the whole thing. I take tons of pictures too. I figure that at least some of them are going to turn out great!
My sister lives in Phoenix. She just moved there last year. Still getting used to the heat.
Hello! Welcome to my art blog. I'm planning to paint every day in 2015 to improve, learn and see where it leads. Not a painting a day, just painting a little every day for now. Please post a comment or feel free to ask questions. And of course I would love any inquiries about purchasing a painting.
