Sorry, I couldn't resist! Inspired by the John Waters' film "Hairspray" that took place in Baltimore. The character above is modeled after my friend Christine, who got to be an extra in the movie when she was a kid, along with her sisters. How cool is that?
You can actually see me dancing in this scene. At 20 seconds you can see my knees. I'm the tall blonde with the short hair wearing a blue top and black knee length skirt with black flats. I'm standing behind to the left of the girl with teh white dress with the black and white rectangles on it. There's a guy in front of me with the same color scheme with black pants blue shirt and short blonde hair so don't get confused. You can see me and my lack of rhythm right from the get go. LOL
Dawn, you're right. I am always drawing/painting her! Funny because the next two paintings I'm working on, the main character LOOKS like her and the other painting is a portrait of her! I'll have to incorporate YOU into my work!
Holy crap! that looks just like me!!!! You got the hair perfect! I could soooo see this sell at hon fest I'll dress up again for you and everything!!!!!!!
Hello! Welcome to my art blog. I'm planning to paint every day in 2015 to improve, learn and see where it leads. Not a painting a day, just painting a little every day for now. Please post a comment or feel free to ask questions. And of course I would love any inquiries about purchasing a painting.

The hairstyle is so Chrissy!
Thanks for chiming in Bridgette! That's so neat that you guys were in this movie. :)
At least you admitted to Chrissy being your muse! Good job.
