Inspire me Thursday: Wallpaper - Some days she just wanted to blend in with it.

This image was drawn in Illustrator, then brought into Photoshop where I applied the wallpaper background. The wallpaper happens to be a scrap piece of paper I have in my collection of decorative papers. If I had wallpaper in my house, it would have to be paisleys. . . with swirls. Lots of swirls.

This is lovely. I love the pattern you have used for the wallpaper, and I can certainly identify with the feeling of wanting to blend in to the wallpaper!

This is wonderful! The black and white allows the various values and patterns to really stand out. I'm with you about paisley - it is just so wonderfully decorative and lyrical. Great illustration!!!!

This is really great-could have gotten too busy very easily, but it isn't. I'd want wall paper like that too...

I have always loved paisley print. It's just so 60's 70's. It works nicely with this graphic interpretation.

This is a cool portrait. It is very bold, like the way you did the background which it helps creating the emotional content to the portrait.
