Day 4 of 21 Creative Excercise Challenge

This is the revamped version of my morning coffee sketch. I started it off in Photoshop airbrushing the background, imported it in Illustrator for the line work and finished the color in Photoshop. I'm happy with the technique I used and will try this again! Although, looking at it finished, it has a Disney princess movie feel, eeeek!

This is really wonderful! Doesn't give off the Disney vibe to me. :)

Nice job Cynthia. I like how you used the strengths of both software apps to improve/complete your sketch. I need to expiriment more with line work in Illustrator.

It's ok. I think it is the medium you are learning. It is lovely for again Disney or a child's magazine. It would really depend on your intended audience. Doing something darker (in color and meaning) may actually help you use more of the color palate.
