Showing my crafty side: Snow Momma and child

For the past 9 years, my family has a tradition of having an ornament exchange/ dessert contest. Of course, I love this because what artist doesn't love a good challenge? I also love to cook, especially elaborate confections that are esthetically pleasing. And since last year, I have been taking on the tradition of having the ornament exchange at my house.

Above is one of the (20 something) ornaments I had made for a previous year. When I get out my Christmas decorations, I'll have to show you what I made in the past years. And of course I will post this year's ornament. Stay tuned to see what it will be!
